The Ospreys will look quite different during this United Rugby Championship season. 

Following a 13th-place finish and a 5-2-11 URC season, the Ospreys lost three players to French teams and two more, Stephen Myler and Bradley Davies, retired. It will indeed be a youth movement for the Welsh club in 2024.

The goal is to return to the Champions Cup after missing the elite tournament the last two years. The Ospreys will compete in the EPCR Challenge Cup this season. In 2023, the Ospreys reached the Round of 16 before losing to the Newcastle Falcons.

To get back to the Champions Cup, they will need to start on the right foot, and that could happen with a trip to Western Ireland in Week 1 against Connacht.

The Ospreys are the most successful of the Welsh teams. The Ospreys have won four URC Championships.

The Ospreys were formed when Neath RFC and Swansea RFC merged in 2003. The region of Wales became known for rugby purposes as the “Ospreylia.” The logo of the Ospreys is an ospreys mask.
