The Glasgow Warriors finished fourth in the United Rugby Championship in 2022-2023 with a record of 13-0-5, but their Grand Final run was dashed by the team that finished behind them. 

The Warriors hope to avoid that in 2023-2024. 

After losing to Munster in the quarterfinals 14-5, and watching the Red Army march to a URC championship a few weeks later, the Warriors look to remain in the top half of the league this season. The club relished playing in Glasgow, using the home field to fuel their record.

Who Coaches Glasgow Warriors Rugby? It’s Franco Smith

Former South African rugby star Franco Smith the Glasgow Warriors' the head coach. Smith played for the Springboks in the 1990s and played professionally for some of the biggest clubs in South Africa.

He started his coaching career in 2005 and was the head coach for Italian club Benetton from 2007-2013. He coached the Italian national team from 2019-2021 before taking over Glasgow in 2022.
