One of rugby's premier defensive organizers, Brex, 34, has become the glue that holds Italy's midfield together. The former Benetton center who joined Toulon in 2025 once again balanced outstanding communication and defensive leadership with improved attacking production during the 2025-26 campaign, helping guide both club and country through another demanding season.
His ability to read the game, distribute under pressure and consistently shut down opposing attacks continues to make him indispensable to Gonzalo Quesada's evolving Italian side.
79. Theo Attissogbé | Wing | France | Section Paloise | Top 14
Blessed with electric pace and exceptional aerial ability, Attissogbé, 21, has rapidly emerged as one of France's brightest young outside backs.
His breakout 2025-26 season with Pau showcased his finishing instincts, footwork and growing defensive maturity before carrying that confidence onto the international stage. Still early in his career, Attissogbé looks poised to become another cornerstone of France's remarkably deep backline.

77. Leicester Fainga'anuku | Wing | New Zealand | Crusaders | Top 14
Power, pace and finishing instinct have always made Fainga'anuku, 26, one of rugby's most devastating outside backs.
Returning to New Zealand after his stint with Toulon in the Top 14, he immediately re-established himself as a focal point of the Crusaders' attack, consistently breaking tackles and finishing scoring opportunities. Few wings combine his physicality and explosiveness, qualities that have once again strengthened his case for regular All Blacks selection.
76. Lorenzo Canonne | No. 8 | Italy | Benetton | URC

Lightning quick around the fringes and armed with years of international experience, Reinach, 36, remains one of rugby's most dangerous veteran scrum-halves.
His return to South Africa after years with the Northampton Saints and Montpellier brought composure, tempo and leadership to the Stormers while continuing to provide valuable depth for the Springboks.

There are few players in rugby capable of changing a match with a single carry quite like 32-year-old Tuisova. The powerful Fijian center continued to terrorize defenses throughout the 2025-26 season, routinely breaking tackles and generating momentum for Racing 92 while remaining a focal point of Fiji's attack.
Even when defenses commit multiple defenders to stop him, his rare blend of power, acceleration and finishing ability remains almost impossible to contain.
73. Giacomo Nicotera | Hooker | Italy | Stade Français | Top 14
Reliable at the set piece and increasingly influential around the park, Nicotera, 30, has quietly become one of Europe's most dependable hookers.
Another productive campaign with Stade Français reinforced his value as both an accurate lineout thrower and a high-work-rate defender, while his continued performances for Italy strengthened one of the Azzurri's most improved forward packs. His consistency continues to separate him from many of his peers.
72. Jack Dempsey | Back Row | Scotland | Toshiba Brave Lupus | JRLO
Powerful, uncompromising and built for high-pressure rugby, Dempsey, 32, has become one of Scotland's most influential forwards.
His dominant carries, physical tackling and relentless work rate once again provided the foundation for Glasgow and Scotland during the 2025-26 season. Dempsey, an Australian who qualified to play for Scotland in 2022, signed with the Brave Lupus and will head to Japan for the upcoming season. Regardless where he plays, and if he'll be eligible for the World Cup next year, Dempsey remains one of the premier back-row players in the world.
71. Andrew Porter | Loosehead Prop | Ireland | Leinster Rugby | URC
One of the world's premier loosehead props, Porter, 30, combines elite scrummaging with a remarkable engine around the field.
The Leinster front-rower again logged heavy minutes for both club and country during the 2025-26 season, anchoring one of Europe's strongest scrums while contributing as a tireless defender, breakdown threat and ball carrier. His durability, versatility and consistency continue to make him one of the most complete props in international rugby.
