Rugby Round-Up Champions Cup Review

Round 2 of the Investec Champions Cup begins with an epic showdown in England between Leinster Rugby of Dublin and the Leicester Tigers and includes 11 more matches across Saturday and Sunday.

Round 1 saw plenty of upsets, with Edinburgh and Gloucester Rugby pulling off massive wins at home over a pair of Top 14 teams, while Bordeaux won in Pretoria, South Africa, after a huge second-half comeback.

Now, rugby fans roll into Round 2 with Leicester looking to bounce back from a loss at La Rochelle and Leinster looking to keep its Investec Champions Cup pool match winning streak alive. 

Leinster has not lost a Champions Cup pool match since 2018, a loss to Toulouse. In 2021, Leinster had to forfeit a match to Montpellier over COVID-19 issues — the squad's only official loss since 2018.

The biggest match of the weekend is in Glasgow, Scotland, with the Warriors hosting the favorite to win the competition, Toulouse.
