After CRAZY Week, Here Are The International Rugby Matches To Watch
After South Africa Rugby and the All Blacks were shockingly pushed, what comes next? And women's Bledisloe Cup match, as the Wallaroos and Black Ferns meet.
The controversy surrounding the All Blacks and France Rugby series was supposed to result in three romping wins by the No. 2 team in the world against a French squad lacking star power.
But Les Bleus had other ideas in Dunedin on July 5.
Yes, it took two second-half tries by the All Blacks being wiped off the scoreboard, but France nearly stunned the All Blacks in New Zealand before losing 31-27.

It was the start of a strange few hours for the top teams.
In Pretoria, playing in front of a raucous crowd — including the president of the country — the Springboks beat Italy 42-24, but led 28-3 at halftime. Then, Italy surged and cut the deficit to 35-24 at one point.
South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus was none too pleased with the match afterward.
England upset Argentina in La Plata, Wales blew a lead to Japan and lost its 17th match in a row and Scotland hung on to beat the Māori All Blacks in Whangārei, New Zealand.
And that's just the start.

Black Ferns Vs. Wallaroos Is A Women's World Cup Preview
For the second time this year, the Wallaroos and the Black Ferns — the Australian and New Zealand women’s national teams — will meet.
In the first match May 10 in the Pacific Four Series, the Black Ferns won 38-12. Now, a month away from the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England, the two sides meet again, this time in Wellington at Sky Stadium.
New Zealand, led by legend Portia Woodman-Wickliffe, is ranked No. 3 in the world and is eyeing a third straight Women’s World Cup.
Australia, ranked No. 6, brings a young team to New Zealand, including 17-year-old Waiaria Ellis.

All Blacks Vs. France Rugby: Can France Pull Off The Upset?
The second of three matches between the two squads — played after the Black Ferns-Wallaroos match in Wellington — will feature added intrigue after how France performed in the first round.
In retrospect, the All Blacks’ two disallowed tries would have widened the margin, but France had possession late and nearly stole the match.
There’s plenty of controversy surrounding the series, since France didn’t bring some of its top players, such as Damian Penaud. The All Blacks, meanwhile, are at full strength.
South Africa Rugby Retools Lineup Vs. Italy
Willie le Roux will earn his 100th cap for the Springboks as coach Rassie Erasmus retools the lineup after a less-than-enthusiastic result against Italy.
The No. 1 team in the world and back-to-back World Cup champions are looking for a more inspired result in Gqeberha, South Africa.
The reshuffled starting XV includes the return of several key players from injury, including Makazole Mapimpi, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Ruan Nortje, Evan Roos and scrumhalf Grant Williams.
Exciting winger Edwill van der Merwe, who scored a try in his lone test appearance against Wales in 2024, also gets a chance to shine in a dynamic back three with Mapimpi and Le Roux.
Fiji Vs. Scotland Gives Young Scots Big Test
With many of Scotland’s top players competing for the British & Irish Lions, the national side held off the Māori All Blacks in their first match of the Southern Hemisphere tour. But now comes the real test.
As in a test match.
The Māori All Blacks match was not an official test, but Fiji — which reached the quarterfinals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup (something Scotland did not) — will be a tough opponent.
Saracens star Fergus Burke will debut for Scotland, while Rory Darge will captain the side for the first time.
This match also is important for 2027 World Cup seeding.
“This is a very important game along with next week’s test against Samoa and also the tests we have in November to put ourselves in the best possible position to get in that top 6,” Scotland coach Gregor Townsend said at a press conference Thursday.
Can England Rugby Do It Again Vs. Argentina?
The most shocking result wasn’t that England — with more talent than expected despite the British & Irish Lions tour — beat Argentina. It was how they did it in La Plata.
A 35-12 win over the then-No. 5 team in the world has now flipped the rankings: England is No. 5, and Argentina has dropped to No. 6. Will Los Pumas bounce back in San Juan?
