Two years ago, France Rugby won the Six Nations Grand Slam by going 5-0 against the other teams. But last year, the French lost to Ireland 32-19 in Dublin.

It was the only match France lost.

France opened the Six Nations 2024 talk as the betting favorite but learned that star Antoine Dupont will not play for the team as he focuses on the Rugby Sevens Tournament in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Dupont also plays for the Top 14 club Toulouse.

France hosted the 2023 Rugby World Cup and was among the favorites to win. France was the No. 2-ranked team in the world.

France handed New Zealand its first Rugby World Cup pool-play loss to begin the tournament, but after Ireland beat South Africa in pool play, the French drew the Springboks in the quarterfinals and lost 29-28.

South Africa went on to win the Rugby World Cup for 2023.

France now is the No. 4-ranked team in the world, but that could change with a strong Six Nations performance.

Here's when the French play in the 2024 Six Nations:
