The two clubs meet Saturday, Oct. 17, at CorpAcq Stadium for their 2026-27 Investec Champions Cup opener. Sale enters the matchup following a narrow Gallagher PREM victory over Harlequins, while Glasgow arrives after defeating Connacht 36-19 in the United Rugby Championship.

Sale director of rugby Alex Sanderson has made five changes, with Tomas Francis earning his first start for the club, Ben Curry returning to the starting lineup and Tom Roebuck back from a calf injury. Courtney Lawes also starts, while Tom Curry provides additional firepower from the bench.
Glasgow coach Franco Smith has made eight changes, welcoming back Scotland internationals Kyle Steyn, Zander Fagerson and Alex Craig. Summer signing Ruwald van der Merwe is set for his Warriors debut at No. 8, with Steyn captaining the visitors.
