Durban, South Africa, plays host to a high-stakes Round 5 clash in the United Rugby Championship, as the Hollywoodbets Sharks welcome Scarlets to Hollywoodbets Kings Park on Saturday, Oct. 25. 

Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. ET, live on FloRugby and the FloSports app. 

Referee Sam Grove-White (SRU) will officiate his 55th league game, assisted by Griffin Colby and Aimee Barrett-Theron, with Eoghan Cross (IRFU) as TMO.

The Sharks return home with a lineup stacked with international experience — 13 current Springboks headline a squad captained by Eben Etzebeth, with Siya Kolisi and Lukhanyo Am among the world-class leaders.

After a narrow home defeat last week, the Durban side aims to rebound and reassert its place among the URC’s elite. 

Scarlets, meanwhile, travels to South Africa searching for form, intent on rediscovering the attacking confidence that defined their style last season.

Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel said his side is determined to stay true to its identity, despite a difficult start to the campaign.

“Obviously, we have been disappointed with results so far, but we can’t go into our shells in terms of how we want to play,” Peel said. “We will keep working hard, we have to keep being bold and we have to keep encouraging boys to go out and play. 

"The Sharks are a dangerous team, you only have to look at their lineup, 13 current Springboks, some of the best players in the world — they are capable of outstanding things.”

Peel said the Scarlets must rely on unity and collective effort to meet the challenge in Durban.

“We need to be a collective, the boys have to fight for each other,” Peel said. “We had a really close game here at the end of last season when we were right in the hunt until the final minutes, and we need more of the same. They lost at home last week, so they are going to be up for the fight as well — what an opportunity, and what a challenge for our guys.”
