Bath Rugby defeat Harlequins 47-31 in Round 1 of the PREM at the Stoop after a second-half surge led by Henry Arundell and Sam Underhill.

Bath Rugby opened their Gallagher Premiership title defense in emphatic fashion, storming past Harlequins 47-31 at Twickenham Stoop. 

The match began with fireworks as Quins’ Will Evans scored a stunning first-half hat-trick to give the hosts a 17-14 lead at the break. 

But Bath roared back after halftime, piling on six tries in a dominant second-half display. Henry Arundell marked his Bath debut with two tries, while Sam Underhill and Beno Obano powered through the Quins’ defense. 

Despite late consolation scores from Harlequins, Bath’s relentless attack sealed a statement win to kick off the 2025-26 Premiership season.
