Sale Sharks PREM Rugby 2025-2026 Preview With Schedule And Top Players

Sale Sharks enter the 2025-26 PREM Rugby season as one of the most consistent clubs in the competition. Founded in 1861, the Manchester-based side has long been a standard bearer for rugby in the North of England.

Sale have enjoyed Premiership stability, never suffering relegation, and claimed the league title in 2005-06. More recently, they were finalists in 2022-23, a reminder of their continued competitiveness.

Beyond the league, Sale have won the EPCR Challenge Cup twice and the Premiership Cup in 2020, further highlighting their silverware pedigree. With a home base at Salford Stadium and a strong contingent of England internationals anchoring the squad, Sharks continue to be a force in domestic and European rugby.
