The Wallabies stunned the reigning world champions last weekend in Johannesburg, overcoming a 22-0 deficit to defeat South Africa 38-22.
It was Australia’s first win at Ellis Park since 1963 and marked just the second time the Wallabies have beaten the Springboks twice in the same Rugby Championship campaign since the tournament expanded to four teams in 2012.
South Africa will look to avoid consecutive defeats for the first time since 2022.
The Springboks have a strong record in Cape Town, winning their last four tests at DHL Stadium despite trailing at halftime in two of those contests.
For Australia, the chance to build on momentum is significant.
Tom Wright, Joseph Sua’ali’i and Max Jorgensen all contributed to the comeback win in Johannesburg, while the back row powered a dominant second-half performance.
