The New Zealand Black Ferns and the Australia Wallaroos - the New Zealand and Australian women's national teams - collided in their second meeting of the season.
After the Black Ferns won the first meeting 38-12, they followed it with an almost identical score the second time, winning 37-12 in Wellington, New Zealand.

The third-ranked Black Ferns, led by Portia Woodman-Wickliffe, are preparing for the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup, where they're looking to win their third consecutive title.
A young Australia squad is led by 17-year-old Waiaria Ellis, who is looking to take her sixth-ranked team to victory in preparation for the same tournament.
In what looked to be a tight game and was 10-7 at the half, the Black Ferns pulled away in the second half, scoring five unanswered tries, putting the game out of reach.
The match was New Zealand's last home test, as their next match will be at the Rugby World Cup.

Black Ferns Beat The Wallaroos 37-12
After a slow first half, the New Zealand Black Ferns busted the game open in the second half, shutting down the Australian offensive efforts.
Australia Adds A Try
Lydia Kavoa cuts into the New Zealand lead with a try for the Wallaroos, but Australia slips on the kick and is unable to convert. The new score is 37-12 at the 80-minute mark.
Rubi Tui Chases Down A Try
Just minutes after subbing on, Tui sped ahead of the Wallaroos defense, settling a kick in the try zone, extending the Black Ferns' lead to 37-7 in the 69th minute.
Black Ferns Score Another Try, Lead 32-7
Sylvia Brunt got in on the action for New Zealand, adding a try of her own, extending the Black Ferns lead.
Fan favorite Rubi Tui subbed into the game to raucous applause from the crowd in Wellington.
Woodman-Wickliffe Hat Trick
The tries for the Black Ferns are starting to pile on, and Woodman-Wickliffe has added her third try of the night, New Zealand's third of the second half.
NZ failed to convert the kick, but lead handily at the 57-minute mark, 27-7.

Now 52 minutes into the test, several substitutes came on for Australia.

Jorja Miller Takes It To The House
After an Australia goal-line stand, Jorja Miller caught the kick and weaved her way through the entirety of the Wallaroos defense, scoring another try for New Zealand.
The Black Ferns converted the kick, extending their lead to 22-7, and they are starting to find their rhythm.
New Zealand Extends Its Lead To 15-7
Ruahei Demant scored a third try for the Black Ferns, but they again were unable to convert the kick.
New Zealand now leads 15-7.
Second Half Starts
The second half has begun, and we are underway in the final 40 minutes of this fixture between Australia and New Zealand.

In a tight first half, the Black Ferns have edged their way past the Wallaroos and take a three-point lead into the break.
Both defenses have been tested but have held strong, making for a defensive game.
Siokapesi Palu left the game in the 39th minute for the Wallaroos with an ankle injury she suffered in Australia's goal-line stand, but her exit seems precautionary.
Woodman-Wickliffe Scores A Second Try
Just seconds after the Wallaroos kept the Black Ferns out of the try zone, Portia Woodman-Wickliffe scored her second try of the night, blowing past everyone.
New Zealand once again missed the kick, but regains the lead, 10-7.

Australia gets a stop with a goal-line stand, keeping the Black Ferns out of the try zone and maintaining their lead.
Strong Defense All Around
Past the 20 minute mark of the first half, it has been all defense, other than the two early scores.
Both sides are pushing forward, but the defense is holding strong.
Australia Comes Close, New Zealand Holding Strong
Australia has been putting lots of pressure on the Black Ferns, but has been unable to get past the strong defense of New Zealand and to across the try line.
After a strong showing by the Wallaroos offense, New Zealand came away with the ball.
Charlotte Caslick Scores For The Wallaroos
Charlotte Caslick scored a try through traffic on her first touch of the game, and Australia took the lead after the kick was good.
Australia leads 7-5.
Portia Woodman-Wickliffe Strikes First For Black Ferns
It took just 1:40 for Portia Woodman-Wickliffe to score a try, and the Black Ferns all-time leading scorer added another try on her 34th birthday, putting New Zealand up 5-0.
Waiaria Ellis Makes History For Wallaroos
Waiaria Ellis becomes the second-youngest Wallaroo to ever make her debut for the Australian side. She is making the start at 17-years-old.
