While the British Irish Lions dominate the English and Irish Rugby news cycle during the 2025 international summer season, both of those national teams are indeed playing marquee matches in July.
In fact, England Rugby has three matches in the Americas that should help the young and developing players not chosen for the Lions.
England, ranked No. 6 in the world, will face No. 5 Argentina twice in July and wrap the month against the United States at Audi Field in Washington D.C. on July 19.

England is at a crossroads of sorts after turning around its Six Nations performance.
That slate of matches started with calls for Steve Borthwick to be fired and ended with England reeling off wins over Scotland, Italy and Wales to nearly win it all.
Borthwick's summer and autumn seasons could determine whether he's the coach in 2027 during the next World Cup.
But this English Rugby squad facing the daunting task of beating Argentina, which started the summer season with a win over the Lions, won’t have the same firepower as the Six Nations.
However, George Ford, Alex Coles and Jamie George will head to Argentina for a squad that features 561 caps total.
And those matches between No. 5 Argentina and No. 6 England are indeed streaming in the United States.
