What France lost, though, will affect the team for an undetermined amount of time, as all-world scrumhalf Antoine Dupont went down with a severe injury during the tournament.
Still, with one of the deepest talent pools in the world, the French squad has set itself up for a gauntlet of tests this summer and fall.
Beginning in July, France has three consecutive tests against the New Zealand All Blacks in New Zealand. All three matches will be broadcast on FloRugby.
Later in the year, Les Bleus host the South Africa Springboks, Fiji and Australia in the Autumn Nations.
