World Rugby Rankings 2025: Springboks, All Blacks Stay Atop New Rankings
South Africa maintains its No. 1 spot as we head into the official start of the international season. Here's the full top 20 of the World Rugby Rankings.
The South Africa Springboks kicked off the international season this past weekend with a 54-7 thrashing of Barbarians FC at DHL Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa.
While the game won't move the needle in the World Rugby Rankings, as it wasn't an official test, the statement from the Boks was clear as they head into bouts with Italy and Georgia.

New Zealand, Ireland, France and Argentina fill out the rest of the top 5.
