Still, the Irish can head into the summer internationals knowing they are one of the top three rugby union teams in the world. 

While teams such as England and France are scheduled to take on rugby giants, Ireland has opted for a lighter summer, with just two summer tests against Georgia and Portugal.

It's certainly understandable given that half of the Irish talent is currently touring with the British & Irish Lions. 

Nevertheless, the men in green stacked their fall schedule with Autumn Nations clashes against New Zealand, Japan, Australia and South Africa. The latter will be a rematch of two massive clashes from last summer.
