The eyes of the rugby world will be on Aviva Stadium as the two teams who have reached the last two European Rugby Championship Finals will play in the quarterfinals this year in the Investec Champions Cup. 

Leinster Rugby, the No. 2 seed, hosts No. 10, La Rochelle, who is looking to become the second three-time European champion, at 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Leinster defeated Leicester 36-22 in the Round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals.  La Rochelle rallied to defeat the DHL Stormers in Cape Town, South Africa, 22-21. Leinster, who beat La Rochelle 16-9 in pool 4 play in December, has seen their last three Champions Cup seasons end against La Rochelle. 

La Rochelle, or Stade Rochelais, is trying to join R.C. Toulon as the only three-peat champion. Leinster's Champions Cup hopes have ended against La Rochelle in three previous Champions Cup playoffs, twice in the final and once in the quarterfinals in 2021.
