The knockout stages for the 2024 Investec Champions Cup begins on April 5 across Europe and South Africa as some of the best professional rugby teams in the world compete for the European Championship. 

The tournament, which runs at the same time as the EPCR Challenge Cup, started with 24 teams from the three biggest European professional leagues, the United Rugby Championship, the Top 14 and the Gallagher Premiership. 

Those 24 teams were then put in four pools and 16 teams qualified for the playoffs after four rounds.

Top 14 and French power Toulouse, led by superstar Antoine Dupont, is the No. 1 seed followed by Ireland Rugby power Leinster, the favorite to win the tournament the last two years. 

Two-time defending champion La Rochelle will begin the tournament in South Africa against the DHL Stormers.
