Following last week's defeat to the Arkansas State Red Wolves, their first in the past 30 games, the Life Running Eagles will look to get back in the win column on Saturday at 1:00 PM (ET) when they host the Lindenwood Lions.

A week ago, the Running Eagles were outmuscled by an Arkansas State side that appeared to come out the hungrier and more disciplined unit over the 80 minutes.

The Red Wolves themselves were coming off the back of a tough 38-20 loss to Lindenwood, and they showed they were able to turn it around a week later and notch their first win over Life since 2012.

Life will have gone back to the drawing board this week to find out how to get themselves back to the standard that's won them the past two national championships. The team that came out on Saturday didn't resemble the aggressive, relentless, and efficient Life teams of the past seven years. However, there's no reason to believe that coach Colton Cariaga and the squad can't fix their issues ahead of this weekend's massive clash.

For Lindenwood, now seems as good a time as ever to earn its first ever 15s win against Life. They've been close on a number of occasions, but have failed to get over the hump time and time again. Life has been the only thing standing in the way of the Lions and a berth in the national title game in recent years, and 2020 could be their year to break through.

Lindenwood have gone undefeated this season to date, and they are as confident a bunch as there is in the nation at the moment.

Life saw its 29-game D1A win streak snapped over the weekend. Could its long-running streak of wins over Lindenwood (over 15 now), see its end as well?
