The marquee matchup of the weekend will be between 3-1 Scarlets and 3-1 Cheetahs. Both sides missed out on the playoffs a year ago, but are off to flying starts this season.

Defending champions Leinster have picked up right where they left off, starting the year with four wins from four. They host Dragons looking to make it five wins on the trot to start the new campaign.

The other three Irish provinces have also begun the season quite well. Ulster, Connacht, and Munster all sit at 3-1, and will face Zebre, Ospreys, and Cardiff respectively this weekend.

After last season's remarkable run to the playoffs, Benetton have experienced a bit of let down thus far, starting with just one win from their first four fixtures. A victory at home against Edinburgh on Saturday could help to right the ship.

Likewise, 2018/19 runners-up Glasgow have gotten off to a similarly slow start, going 1-3 in their first four games. A home game against the winless Southern Kings is a golden opportunity to get back in the win column.
