The Atlantis U18 Girls are dominating the the Elite bracket (NAHS) at the NAI 7s.

The team was forced to play four games while everyone else played three because of a late bracket change. With Kahuku pulling out on late notice, the competition had to be shifted around, and tournament director Michael Cressler used a random bot to select which of the five teams would have to play four games on Friday.

The bot coughed up Atlantis, and it didn’t phase the team one bit. Outscoring teams 163-27, Atlantis beat Utah Rugby Academy, Rhinos, Rock Rugby, and Rebel Rugby. At 2-1, Utah and Rhinos are in 2nd and 3rd, and those teams will face off on Saturday.

The winner of that game will likely clash with Atlantis for the title.

Atlantis Girls Roster:
Maddie Rose, Tiyanna Hooker, Nina Mason, Alex Pipkin, Jordan Roe, Sammy Stern, Alexandra Wantlin, Camile White, Madeleine Maurice, Emma Gamboa, Sophia Linder, Abby Fearey.

The only ones I could think of off the top of my head were Ben Cima (SEA), Scott Dean (SEA), Tadgh Leader (NE) and Zinzan Elan-Puttick (AUS) -- and it's worth noting that both Leader and Elan-Puttick grew up playing rugby in Ireland and South Africa respectively.
