The Men's D1A pool are set for this coming weekend's USA Rugby College 7s Championships.

With a slate of 15 teams, the competition with have three pools of four teams, and one pool of three. The top two from each pool will go on to the quarterfinals, while the bottom two from Pool A, B, and C, along with the third team from Pool D, will go to the Challenge Trophy quarterfinals.

The top seed from those even teams will get a bye to the Challenge semis.

The pools themselves seem fairly even, with no pool enormously more difficult to win than any other. Pool A, with defending champion Lindenwood, AIC, Indiana, and USC, might be the toughest.

But Pool B has hosts Arizona, Big 10 champion Ohio State, Red River champion Arkansas, and Liberty champion Northeastern.

Notre Dame College heads up Pool C with Grand Canyon, Minnesota, and a real wild card in Utah.

Pool D has only three teams, with Central Washington potentially one of the favorites to win the entire competition. Davenport and Cal Poly are also strong in a pool that has only two games per team, but no gimmes.

The teams will play pool play on May 24 and wrap up the knockout rounds on May 25. All of the games will be LIVE on FloRugby.
