Samurai PRP Player Of The Week: Siaosi Nonu, SFGG
The Samurai PRP Player of the Week for Round 9 is SFGG's Siaosi Nonu.
San Francisco Golden Gate may be in last place in the PRP, but last week's 38-24 victory over OMBAC showed that the club has signs of life.
And spurring that life is flanker Siaosi Nonu. Nonu is a very hard-hitting loose forward who brought a big game when his team needed it.
He scored a try in the opening ten minutes to give his squad the lead, and followed that up with a score just after halftime, and another midway through the second half.

That last one staked SFGG to a 31-17 lead that would basically hold up.
"He's been a really great leader and player for us," said SFGG head coach Neil Foote."He's young but he's experienced and he just ran really smart support lines all day."
That makes Siaosi Nonu our Samurai Pacific Rugby Premiership Player Of The Week.
