USA 7s team star Perry Baker is still recovering from a broken jaw that has kept him out of the Sevens World Series, but that didn't stop him from visiting a HS team in his home state of Florida.

The Jacksonville Wolverines are set to play in the Florida Youth Rugby state semifinals in a little more than a week, and have been training hard to get ready. Baker, who is from the same hometown as Jacksonville head coach Aaron Church, paid them a visit.
"It was a great experience for the kids to see in person a role model and professional rugby player many idolize and hope to be like one day," said Church.

Baker spoke to the kids from the heart about teamwork and team-building, and he also gave a few rugby tips along the way, running them through a drill.
"The experience is one these kids will always remember and inspire them further in their future in the sport," said Church. "It is great to see ambassadors of the sport help grow the sport at all levels. Hopefully this inspiration carries these kids through as we head our focus on next week's State Semifinals."
