Fiji beat New Zealand by a point, and that ensure that the USA will remain #1 in the standings after the Vancouver 7s.

The USA came back from 19-0 down to beat England 21-19. That must have made Mike Friday happy. France crushed Samoa while South Africa raced past Argentina.

In the lower brackets, Canada was hard-done-by to not make the Cup Round, but could win the Challenge Trophy (the Bowl for all of you rugby Luddites).
