Air Force will take on Davenport in the final of the Women's Fall D1 College Championships after those teams won semifinals Sunday.
Davenport defeated University of Connecticut 34-10 thanks to two tries, three conversions, and a penalty goal from scrumhalf Olivia Ortiz.
The 4-11 field general was superb on the day, logging 19 points on her own. Center Megan Bird added two tries and No. 8 Mariah Pruitt added one. UConn got tries from flanker Christ Amoia and hooker Jennie Wingard.
Davenport is looking to repeat as fall champions, and cap off a run that included two fall D2 titles, as well.
Meanwhile, Air Force is looking to return to the final where the Zoomies won in 2016. Air Force lost to Davenport 15-5 in the national fall semis in 2017.
