Four Left In D1AA Fall Playoffs
Two upsets in the men's D1AA college playoffs.
The Men's Fall D1AA college playoffs produced a few surprises as the quarterfinals slogged through the snow and slush on Saturday.
Mid-American Conference champion Western Michigan was not expected to beat independent varsity program Lindenwood-Belleville, but no one told the Broncos that. With the front row of Jackson Day, Manual Bravo, and Ivan Delgado setting the tone up front, and center Kyle Williams having a massive game, WMU shut down the Lynx 31-10 to advance.

In the other bracket, Bowling Green and Kentucky battled back and forth through a tight game, and the Falcons won 31-24. For Bowling Green, conference runner-up behind WMU, this was a gratifying win as Kentucky came in the SCRC conference winner.
BGSU will take on defending D1AA champion Mary Washington. UMW ran out to a 38-14 lead over West Chester and cruised to a 71-14 victory.
