Wisconsin's upset win over Indiana comes down to several factors, but one of them wears the #10 jersey.

After an excellent high school career at Gonzaga, and appearances for the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy and the HS All American program, Sheehy enrolled as a Badger and was quickly installed as the starting flyhalf by head coach Scott Adlington.

Owen Sheehy is our College Freshman Of The Week.

"He manages the game well," said Adlington. "He does well with the ball through the hands, and what is also coming along well with him is that he kicks from the hand well. Against Indiana, he did that better than I've seen him and it helped us put them under pressure."

Adlington has been smart, however. Despite Sheehy being an accomplished goalkicker, he has put that responsibility on center Ben McColgan. As it is, McColgan has done well with that job, and that has allowed Sheehy to blossom.

He is clearly playing with more confidence, and in the opening minute against Indiana took his chance and scored a try to put Wisconsin up 5-0. It was a lead the Badgers would never relinquish
