Nick Civetta: 'Tired Is Relative, Right?'

It was American against American in the Greene King Championship in England this past weekend as USA locks Nick Civetta and Ben Landry squared off.

Civetta is playing for the Doncaster Knights and Landry is a new addition at the Ealing Trailfinders. Saturday, they were opponents.

While another Eagle, Andrew Durutalo, didn't started but did come on as a sub for Ealing, Landry and Civetta both started at lock. Both battled hard in the trenches, with Civetta and his pack looking stronger in the scrums and mauls, while Landry did well to help disrupt Doncaster's strong lineout game.

Ealing took an early lead thanks to some nicely-taken tries in the backs. Doncaster came back with the maul. Twice a Doncaster player was able to get Landry out of the maul defense, where he is very good, and that allowed Civetta to dive his teammates over.

However, it was too little too late, and Ealing won 36-22.
