West Coast Sevens Pools Set For Opener

The West Coast Sevens series has confirmed its pools for the first of two tournaments this fall.

The first tournament, to be held October 6 at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, will feature 12 men's teams in the main event, plus five teams in a secondary competition. There will also, for the first time, be a women's event.

This tournament will lead into the two-day October 20-21 event at Treasure Island in San Francisco. Fifteen teams are set for that one, with one more playing in October 6.
