A massive clash early-on on this very difficult Top 14 LIVE on FloRugby.

Sunday's live game will be Racing 92, winners over Toulon last week, and Clermont, massive winners over Agen in the opening round.

Thanks to the sure hands, and feet, of flyhalf Finn Russell (20 of Racing's 25 points last week), Racing 92 can take full advantage of what is an impressive defense. They will need it as Clermont put up 67 on Agen last week behind try-scorers Isaia Toeava, Alivereti Raka, Samuel Ezeala, and Peter Betham (all scored twice).

You think there's a strong foreign influence in this team? You're right. "Ice" Toeava is a 35-cap All Black, Raka is from Fiji, Betham was born in New Zealand and played for Australia, and Ezeala is from Spain.

They're all Clermont now.

In FloRugby's other game, this is the chance for a re-start for Toulon, which lost to Racing but felt they had played their opponents to a standstill for most of the match.

A yellow card to former All Black midfielder Malakai Fekitoa hurt Toulon badly (two tries given up in those ten minutes). Toulon takes on Pau (Section Paloise), which lost 41-19 to Bordeaux-Begles last week. 

But that score, too, flattered the winners a bit. A late yellow card opened up the door for two converted tries in the final five minutes. Pau lost, yes, but 27-19 doesn't sound so bad. Thibault Daubagna was a strong presence for Pau.
