The Atlantis boys U18 Elite team is looking for some measure of revenge after losing by two points in the final of the 2017 NAI 7s.

But this year head coach Greg Schor Haskin hopes to be three points better. Atlantis will bring two squads — a first side and a more developmental group, as it becomes evident that even at this level players need to be worked into the experience.

The team arrives in Salt Lake City on Tuesday and will train for two days before finalizing the two rosters.

Some players who were just recent active in the Can-Am Futures games, such as Elijah Billups and Jon Rodriguez, will be backed up for 2016-17 HS Player Of The Year Mike Weir (above), longtime USA Rugby and Atlantis standout Nate Salter, and some players from farther afield than is usual for Atlantis, such as Texas-based Evan Conlon and David-John Selby, and Louisiana standout Gabe Massey.
