Come back for the action Saturday morning - kickoff is 9:30AM ET on Saturday for the knockout rounds, which finishes just before 1PM.

Callum Sirker - (London Wasps)

The Wasps won the last two Premiership 7s and are the favorites after day one. Sirker was the biggest factor in the Wasps dominant day one performance. Sirker scored three tries in the first half of the Wasps second match against the host team Northampton Saints.

Sirker has played with the England Sevens team so his dominant performance is no shock. Sirker would be the favorite for “man of the round” if it wasn’t for the next player, with the same first name.

Calum Waters - (Harlequins F.C.)

Waters had two hat tricks! In two matches he scored six tries and the Harlequins are 2-0. Is there any doubt the Harlequins have the breakout player of the tournament so far? Last year the Harlequins 18 year old phenom Marcus Smith made his breakthrough in this tournament. Waters has debuted for the Harlequins senior team as a substitute but If he keeps up the scoring rate he’ll be a first team regular in no time.

Adam Radwan - (Newcastle Falcons)

Radwan is only 20, but this guy can flat out fly. He’s played in this competition before and that seemed to be a huge advantage on day one. Radwan clearly understood gaps in attack, and in defense he didn’t let any opponents trot to the try line. Radwan saved Newcastle from elimination by racing back and making a try saving tackle, poaching the ball, then eventually tying the match with a try. Newcastle won Pool B with wins over Leicester and Saracens. Radwan and the Falcons will go head to head with the next two guys on this list in their first match against the Sharks.

Arron Reed - (Sale Sharks)

Speed kills in sevens and no one was faster on day one then Arron Reed. He put up the highlight try of day one in the first match of the day. Reed threw a dummy pass to a decoy runner then proceeded to burn two defenders to the edge. Arron Reed looks like a player built for sevens, England Sevens need to keep their eye out for this speedster.

Paolo Odogwu - (Sale Sharks)

Last year Odogwu scored 8 tries in the first day of the Premiership 7s breaking the record set by Christian Wade. His performance launched himself into the Sharks first team. This year he did not meet the same try-scoring record but his defense was crucial for the Sharks. In the first match Odogwu forced two turnovers, gaining the Sharks two extra possessions. His teammate capitalized on these possessions and that's why he’s next on the list.
