The Premiership 7s is streaming LIVE on FloRugby later this month for U.S. fans, kicking off three weeks of elite-level Olympic-style rugby.

All of the teams in the Gallagher Premiership will participate in four pools of three teams. Each team will play two pools games on opening day, Saturday, July 27.

The first game gets underway at 11:30 AM Central Time, as the evening (UK time) kickoff at Franklin's Gardens makes for perfect timing for sevens fans in the USA.

This tournament has been a showcase for some of tomorrow's pro stars (former USA captain Chris Wyles starred in this event), and that will certainly be the case this time around.

All of the games will be live and on-demand on FloRugby. The day after, watch the USA Rugby Futures Games at the Saranac Lake tournament, as the top U18 sevens players push for a spot in the Youth Olympic Games.

The week after, the NAI 7s will showcase the best young sevens players from the USA and Canada LIVE from Salt Lake City. And then, the week after that, watch America's top current adult players in the USA Rugby Club 7s Championships in New York City, also LIVE on FloRugby.

(In fact, the coverage begins a week before the Premiership 7s. Watch for FloRugby's in-depth and ongoing coverage of the Rugby World Cup 7s on July 20-22.)

MLR Nationality Breakdown By Position: Colorado Raptors

The other day I was thinking about fly-halves in the MLR -- since that is my position -- and I got to thinking how few American players there are playing fly-half in Major League Rugby. The only ones I could think of off the top of my head were Ben Cima (SEA), Scott Dean (SEA), Tadgh Leader (NE) and Zinzan Elan-Puttick (AUS) -- and it's worth noting that both Leader and Elan-Puttick grew up playing rugby in Ireland and South Africa respectively.

Senior Club Member Unions Elect Council Executive Committee

GLENDALE, CO – Elected members of the USA Rugby Senior Club Executive Committee were announced today after a vote by the Senior Club Council, comprised of representatives from the 19 Member Unions across the country. As part of the governance reorganization, this Executive Committee including officers and committee chairs will represent and administer the Senior Club community across USA Rugby membership. These elections are in line with the newly developed Terms of Reference, where Union representatives collaborated to determine what the Council committee structure will be, along with roles and responsibilities. The Executive Committee consists of nine representatives; five standing committee chairs and four officers. The standing committees will facilitate certain elements of the Senior Club game including Eligibility, Discipline, Competitions, Training & Development and finally Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The Officers include the council Chair and Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.  The Senior Club Representative to the USA Rugby Board of Directors is an ex-officio member. Next steps for the Senior Club Council will be selecting representatives to the USA Rugby Board and its committees, followed by negotiation with the USA Rugby National Office on supportive services through a Community Service Agreement.
