All eight teams went on to the quarterfinals after pool play, with the group stage serving to create the playoff seeds. In the quarterfinals, the results went as follows:

Westside Ronins 29, SFGG 24
Life West 30, San Jose 0
Belmont Shore 25, Old Gaels 0
Santa Monica 19, Olympic Club 0

So that set up the semis, with Life West taking on the Ronins and Shore taking on Santa Monica. Belmont Shore won fairly comfortably, 36-14. Life West had to work for it against Westside, holding on for a 19-14 win.

In the final, Belmont Shore just got by Life West with a two-point victory. But it was enough, and the Long Beach club will be at Sevens Nationals in August.
