Eagle Impact Rugby Academy won the opening game of its summer series of tours, with the U19 team defeating Ontario's U19s 39-22 on Thursday evening in Guelph, Ontario.

Mile McCormick continued on his strong spring with a superb performance at No. 8. He led on defense and carried the ball well. Center Dillon Hendricks was dangerous in attack and combined nicely with his midfield mate Na'a Toaraa. 

Meanwhile, Toaraa set the tone in open field with some thumping tackles. Sam Fisher and Gage Gibson showed well off the bench.

This is the first of two games for the EIRA U19s at the University of Guelph. Later on this summer, other Eagle Impact teams will tour Ontario, British Columbia, and Ireland.
