USA U20s Face Off With Austin Elite Academy
The Men's Junior All Americans look to qualify for the World Junior Trophy, but first must warm up against the Austin Elite Academy.

The USA U20s will take on the Austin Elite Academy U23s Friday evening in a warmup before the two-match clash with Canada this coming week in Houston.
The USA and Canada U20 teams are looking to qualify for the Junior World Rugby Trophy, and that two-game series in Houston will take care of that. So now USA U20 head coach Scott Bracken is trying to get his team working together under some pressure.
A couple of the USA players have been in the senior USA camp, but were released back to the U20s for this game.

The Austin Elite team, meanwhile, has its own plans. Under head coach Mason Hering, who also c
"We are all very excited about the opportunity to help the Men's Junior All-Americans prepare for their upcoming matches against Canada," said Hering. "They will bring a tough challenge for us due to their skill level and physicality."
Hering and the Austin program is also looking to develop young players in a high-performance environment. While Austin will provide the USA U20s with a fast, physical encounter, the USA team will provide Austin with a quick, skillfull opponent.
"With a very short run-up to the match working against us, I feel we've put together a quality squad," said Hering. "Several of our guys have had experience in the National Team setup with the All Americans before so they know what level of play is expected."
Lindenwood standout Chance Wenglewski will captain the squad that has former HS All Americans Griffin Maat, Bobby Butchofsky, Keoni Francis, and Alex Rayton (all Texas HS products) in the lineup.
