The Legion found themselves leading 12-0 before 10 minutes had expired from the game clock. Only leading 17-14 at the half, San Diego used a pair of second-half tries to extend its lead to 31-17. Utah would make one more run at a comeback, but it was ultimately the home side prevailing in this Week 2 matchup.
Glendale’s Zach Fenoglio earned Player of the Week honors. Fenoglio showed off tremendous versatility by starting the match at flanker and finishing at hooker. The Denver native converted a crucial try to help lift the Raptors over the Seattle Seawolves and start the season 2-0.
