You Voted: Your Co-MVPs Of The Americas Rugby Championship
FloRugby readers voted on who should be the MVP of the Americas Rugby Championship. One of the candidates voices his thoughts.

The readers were asked to vote, and it was a dead heat to select the MVP of the Americas Rugby Championship.
In the end, readers couldn't decide between the USA's Bryce Campbell and Hanco Germishuys, who each finished with 32.42 percent of the vote. As such, they are the co-MVPs of this year's ARC, as voted by FloRugby readers.
For Campbell, the votes clearly recognize the center's dependability and sometimes unglamorous work. Playing 80 minutes in every game, Campbell set the physical tone. He was a defensive leader and the battering ram in the midfield that set up tries for other players.

Germishuys, meanwhile, made a now-famous tackle at the end of the USA vs. Argentina XV game that preserved the Eagles' 17-10 victory in the opening round.
Following that, Germishuys played in a total of four of the five USA games and scored five tries, which led all players in that category.
Who was better? In a recent Miss Pass podcast, Germishuys voiced his opinion.

Germishuys, who wouldn't say he should be the MVP, seemed instead to lean toward Campbell as his favorite for the honor and also singled out Mike Te'o as another serious candidate. Maybe it should be left as a tie.
