Hughes, Tomasin Out Of USA Squad For New Zealand 7s

USA Rugby has announced that both Stephen Tomasin and Madison Hughes will miss the New Zealand Sevens in Hamilton next weekend.

Both players suffered knee injuries that took them out of action in the Sydney Sevens this weekend. Kevon Williams was brought into the tournament squad after Hughes went out on Friday — Williams had traveled with the team for just that purpose.

While Williams will remain with the USA team for Hamilton, the Eagles have called on former Cal All-American scrumhalf and USA U20 standout Nick Boyer to fly out to New Zealand to be part of the squad.
