FloRugby will live-stream the 2018 Lindenwood HS Tournament.

One of the best and most interesting preseason tournaments on the high school calendar, the Lindenwood Tournament brings together teams from all over the country, with defending national national HS Club champion Royal Irish, and defending national Tier 2 champion St. Thomas Aquinas.

“The Lindenwood Tournament will be a huge test for us early in the season,” said Aquinas head coach and former USA prop Tim Kluempers. “We like to get as much rugby for us as we can before spring break, and the tournaments are good because we get short games, work combinations, and get guys used to playing high-level rugby.”

Avon (IN), Jenks (OK), KC Jr. Blues (MO), and the Missouri Bears will also compete in what has become a much-anticipated early-season hit-out.

“This year the winter’s been brutal,” said Kluempers. “Right now we’ve only had four practices outside, and our last one was in a school gym. So it’s hard to tell what you have. So playing in this tournament is huge. We will be getting some excellent live action and that will be a huge test for us.”

Right after the tournament ends, the hosts Lindenwood University will pit their men’s team against Clemson in a Mid-South conference game. That game, too, will be streamed live by FloRugby.
