First-year college players have to work especially hard to make an impact this early in the season, as most are learning a new system, getting to know new teammates, and adjusting to college life.
In this week's list of the top freshman performances, each player has shown the ability to make those adjustments really quickly.
"Anthony has played his way into a starting spot and he's been very solid," Penn State head coach Justin Hundley said. "He's reacted well to the change in environment, and he handled the pressure of college rugby very well. It'll be exciting to see what he can do over the next four years."

Anthony Adamcheck
Starting as Penn State's loosehead prop, Adamcheck was a standout for Fairfield Prep in Connecticut and picked up right where he left off with the Nittany Lions, scoring a try against Notre Dame College in a 43-17 Penn State victory this past weekend."Anthony has played his way into a starting spot and he's been very solid," Penn State head coach Justin Hundley said.
