Here are the FloRugby Men's College rankings with all of the D1A and D1AA teams put together (plus the odd independent that plays a D1-level season).
This week, there are a few shifts, mostly near No. 50. That's no surprise. If you're around No. 50 you're not in a solid position, especially this early in the season. Albany made it to the top 50 thanks to a victory over Stony Brook. But Binghamton beat Stony Brook by more, and that counts for something. We dropped Boston College out because the Eagles should have been lower last week due to their loss to Harvard. This week, we'd have loved to put the Crimson in, but their loss to Penn State (yes, a B team, but still, sometimes that factors in a tiny bit) made us wait.
James Madison rebounded from a poor preseason trip to New York to beat Virginia, and that moves UVA out (for now) and JMU into the rankings. Fordham, which beat JMU and then beat Columbia, has to move in ahead.
Further up the ladder, Kutztown and Air Force got bumps thanks to early victories. Lindenwood-Belleville lost but showed a lot in that loss and moved up a bit.
