Jackalope Tournament Latest: Colorado St. Notches Trio Of Wins

Colorado State got a nice confidence boost with three impressive wins at the 44th annual Jackalope Tournament on Saturday in Laramie, WY.

Hosted by the University of Wyoming, the Jackalope Tournament offers a series of shortened games for teams to get some on-field time and a little exra coaching. For many, it's a chance to test new players.

"For us and several of the teams, it was a developmental day," Wyoming head coach David Finoff said. "We played mixed rookies and veterans just trying to get them to figure out the game. Luckily for my team they all had a blast and look to work hard and find success in the future."

But it was also a way for teams to test each other out. Utah Valley beat Utah and Colorado. Utah State beat Wyoming and Colorado's B side. But both lost to Colorado State, which also took down Utah 33-26.
