Atlantis has confirmed its U18 boys team is playing in the North American Invitational 7s on August 4-5 in Salt Lake City.
The team is headed up by Maccabiah Games gold medal game MVP Chase Schor Haskin, who was also the MVP of the Florida state high school championship game. The powerful sevens prop combines nicely with Griffin Maat (pictured) of Houston St. Thomas High School and Gavin Zeigler of Cumberland Valley (PA) to provide some power up front.
Robert Figley and Mike Weir -- of Fort Hunt (VA) and Doylestown (PA), respectively -- are two smart playmakers, while there's plenty of pace and outside running ability with the likes of Jesse Captriotti, Graham Peterson, and Noah Geltman.
Mike Weir has been the Atlantis captain on four of the program's tours, starting at the U16 level. He will return from the EIRA U17 tour of Ireland to take the Atlantis reins once more.

This Atlantis team draws heavily from players in Pennsylvania and New York, but not exclusively, as Atlantis scouts players from all over. Atlantis finished third in the 2016 NAI 7s.
