NSCRO Finalizes Men's 7s Teams
The National Small College Rugby Association confirms teams at its 2017 men's 7s championships.

PHILADELPHIA -- Two-time defending champion New Mexico Highlands University leads the eight-team field just announced in the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) National Championship, to be competed at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, PA.
The Vatos, out of Las Vegas, NM, won the 2016 NSCRO 7s championships last year with a 31-7 victory of St. Mary's College of Maryland. New Mexico Highlands and St. Mary's return to the pitch June 3-4, along with the sevens squads from Babson College (Wellesley, MA), Colby College (Waterville, Maine), Christendom College (Front Royal, VA), Duke University (Durham, NC), Solano Community College (Fairfield, CA), and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The NSCRO National Championship field of eight was determined through eight qualifier tournaments conducted around the country this spring.
Previous NSCRO national champions include Occidental College (2013) and New England College (2014).
