When most people have car trouble, they have to call a tow truck company or roadside assistance provider for help. But for one New Zealand motorist on Tuesday, it was a professional rugby club that came to her aid.
The Sunwolves, a Super Rugby squad from Japan, were traveling on their team bus on a rainy Auckland street when they spotted a stranded motorist with a flat tire. In another example why rugby is the greatest sport on earth, the team left the bus and lifted the vehicle to safety. You know, because rugby players are strong and such.
The team later wrote on its Facebook page, "Sunwolves helped in moving a car with a punctured tire. Yes, of course, FW players not BK players."
The next time you need to move anything heavy or change a tire on your car, consider calling your local rugby club.
