Michele Lamaro is preparing for his 100th Benetton Rugby appearance, and the milestone comes with a chance to settle an old European score.

The Italian captain leads Benetton into Sunday's EPCR Challenge Cup opener against Castres Olympique at Stade Pierre-Fabre on Oct. 18. The clubs last met in the 2024-25 Champions Cup knockout rounds, when Castres snatched a dramatic 39-37 victory with a last-minute try.
