Union Bordeaux Begles returns home looking for a response when Stade Francais comes to Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas for the final match of Top 14 Round 3.
UBB's season has already featured two wildly different results. Bordeaux-Bègles opened with a dominant 64-5 win over Racing 92 before running into defending champion Toulouse in Round 2, falling 48-12 after trailing 36-0 at halftime. Stade Français also enters Sunday at 1-1, following a 28-26 win over Perpignan with a 25-16 loss at Clermont.
Bordeaux-Bègles brings plenty of star power back to Chaban-Delmas. Maxime Lucu and Matthieu Jalibert reunite at scrum-half and fly-half, Yoram Moefana and Nicolas Depoortere form the center pairing and Damian Penaud starts on the wing. Hugo Avogadro will make his first Top 14 appearance and first start on the opposite wing.
Stade Français counters with Paul Abadie and Louis Foursans-Bourdette at 9 and 10, while Jérémy Ward starts at outside center and Ihaia West moves to fullback.
