Toulouse captured its fourth consecutive Top 14 title and a record-extending 25th French championship with a 28-20 victory over Montpellier on Saturday at the Stade de France. 

Peato Mauvaka scored twice, while Antoine Dupont added a first-half try to help Toulouse build a commanding 25-6 halftime lead. 

Montpellier mounted a strong second-half comeback behind tries from Justo Piccardo and Léo Coly, even after a lightning delay paused play. But Toulouse held firm in the closing minutes, surviving late pressure to secure another Top 14 crown.
